Nominal Power : It is a measure of the heating rate output by this unit at its main design point. Since our burners are relatively resilient and provide a broad range of flame stability, they can be used above this value.
Nominal XSA : The Excess air is a measure of oxygen left unburnt at nominal power. Emission levels depend on this value.
Nominal TDR : The turndown ratio is the ratio between the nominal and minimum power (Hi/Lo fire). The swrl-R unusually high turn down ratio allows it to stably operate over a broad range of firing rates.
Nominal NOx : NOx level at nominal power. This value depends upon the flame and process temperatures, the excess air (XSA) and the residence time of the products in the process.
Inlet Connection : Make sure that the connection is compatible with your fuel train.
Inlet ∅ : Fuel connection diameter.
Flange ∅ : Flange diameter.
Flange Bolt ∅ : Flange bolt hole diameter. Choose bolts that will fit in these holes to properly mount your burner.
Flange Bolt Circle ∅ : Bolt circle diameter (see figure below).
Flange Bolt Count : It determines the mounting pattern which is essential for your burner to properly mount on your walls.
Insert ∅ : Insert diameter: There is a +0.00/-0.02" tolerance on this diameter such that your burner will slide properly into any hole with this nominal diameter.
Insert Length : The insert should be long enough to penetrate the process wall and stabilize the flame at a desired location within the process (see figure below).
Air Flowrate : Air flowrate required to operate the burner at nominal power with prescribed excess air. It dictates the choice of the fan and may significantly impact the burner’s cost.
Air Pressure : Atmospheric pressure on the site. We designed our burner to function on most sites. If you plan to use this burner on high altitude platforms, contact us so we can inform you on the matter.
Air Temperature : Atmospheric temperature on the site.
Fuel Type : Natural gas, propane, landfill, etc.
Fuel Flowrate : Fuel flowrate rate required to achieve the nominal power at prescribed excess air. This parameter affects your operational cost as it affects fuel consumption.
Fuel Pressure : Fuel pressure at the burner inlet. You will need to set your fuel pressure at this value to ensure proper burner operation.
Fuel Temperature : Typical fuel temperature at the burner inlet.
